Interview with Denny
By: Blissfulviolet
Blissfulviolet:  So tell me what happened to Gore Splatters old myspace
profile?
Denny:  Well due to some people being complete idiots, they got
offended, and reported us. Therefore, our shit was just gone like that. Its
pretty fucking ridiculous that a profile thats been up for however long can
be deleted just because of 1 person not liking it.
Blissfulviolet:  Give us some history of the band.
Denny:  We actually had the idea of starting a band back in 06, but didn’t
have the time, or the equipment to do so. So we kind of just kept the idea
for a while until we had good jobs to where we could get the equipment to
start it up. Later on that year we finally had the shit we needed, but we did
not even have the slightest clue of how to write grindcore or anything. We
wanted a different sound because there are numerous bands out there who
sound exactly the same. We then had an idea. Form a pattern in the songs.
If you listen to the songs, you will notice a pattern throughout the whole
thing. We then soon recorded our first song together. (Child Molester)
which has not been released yet. It’s basically a jam session recording. Up
until a few months ago, we caught the ears of some labels on here (who
have also fucked us around by the way), and they got us heard to a shit
load of people. Which I thank them even though they broke a shit load of
promises to us. That’s pretty much it, now we’re just continuing to make
songs, and kick peoples asses.
Blissfulviolet:  Describe Gore Splatters sound.
Denny:  We try to keep a very original sound. We vary our vocals a bit so it
gives a variety to the listeners. Some people like other songs more then
others, but some like the songs others don’t. So it kind of draws in two sides
of fans.
Blissfulviolet:  What’s happening new
with the band, I noticed Gore Splatter
has released some new tracks?
Denny:  This band has grown a lot,we
have a new bassist on board, and we are
in search for a drummer at the moment.
We do have one in mind. We hope to
play a lot of kick ass shows during the
summer, but our main goal is the Texas
Metal Fest 2007 Next Year in Houston. I’
m fuckin sicked about that. We released
some new tracks with sort of a different
sound from our old material. I kind of
adopted a "pattern" style of music. You'll
notice the rhythms and beats are all in
pretty much the same pattern.
Blissfulviolet:  What types of
themes inspire the bands lyrics and
music?
Denny:  What inspires our music is
just the gut of society that no one
sees,the thing that makes people
fucking retch. You mention dead
babies to a emo kid and they're like
GROSS!........but for some reason
they say they kill babies..I dunno, but
anyway,not getting started on that
topic,I just think of something
gross/nasty and sick as fuck,then
write something small,then branch it
off from there.
Blissfulviolet:  What would you
consider to be one Gore Splatters
finest moments?
Denny:  Ha ha Gore Splatters finest moment would probably be how many
times we've been fucked around. I remember the first time, ahh it was great.
Promised a full length to be printed, and never happened. Damn good
moment. That fucking dick head son of a bitch lied *not mentioning names*
message me if you want it, lol. But yeah man, that’s pretty much it!
Blissfulviolet:  Where would you like to see Gore Splatter headed?
Denny:  I want to see Gore Splatter headed in a upward direction, but not
to the "sell out" point. As I've seen many times before, bands only care
about the fame and what girl they can get next to sign their name on their
tits. Which in turn, most of them are little 14yr old pre-pubescent school
girls..... I plan to tour Texas shortly, and then next year, hopefully tour The
Country, sharing the stage with a lot of kick ass bands.
Blissfulviolet:  What do you think of the Texas metal scene, by the way?
Denny:  Man the Texas metal scene is bad ass. I mean hell, we have
Disfigured and Devourment, Enough said. The organization of music here
is close with everyone associated with the genre. Everyone knows
everyone, and it’s cool to hang out with bad ass bands and people who do
the same shit as you.
Blissfulviolet:  Any final comments?
Denny:  Hell yeah. Kill the fucking emos. Get them out of the scene.
They're making us look bad! Kill em all!!
Gore FUCKING Splatter. Fuck the Emo's...enough said.
