Interview with PK
By: Blissfulviolet
Blissfulviolet:  If I recall correctly, when you left Abigor back in 2003…you were a little
enraged by the black metal scene. Do you still feel the same on this subject?
PK:  It depends on the topic, but the 3 years of “not being involved” healed a lot of wounds.
Still there’re points which I hate, especially the problem with NAPALM RECORDS, and some
“so-called” friends…
Blissfulviolet:  I noticed especially in the black metal scene, too many people try to hold up
this “Stay True to the black metal values thing” and for some bands its kinda controlling the
way they create their music and portray themselves. I value how Abigor will continue on and
not literally try not to recreate the past…Can you elaborate more on this vision.
PK:  We stay true to our values of course, but that doesn’t mean stagnation, in no fucking way!
ABIGOR means progress, focusing on the past blocks the way for the future in my opinion and
the reunion doesn’t affect a recreation of the “old” records, it’s definitely a new chapter in our
history…
Blissfulviolet:  I agree…It’s been about a year since the rebirth of Abigor. T.T. and you are
back working together. How has that been going and was their a certain process that went into
creating the groundwork for the Fractal Possession album?
PK:  It was hard to find a line of co-operation, it took months to lay down all our differences but
finally we’re back, stronger then ever! Each of us worked on ideas and songs within the years
of separation, so it only took a few months to finish the material for the new album. At least that
separation and different influences gave ABIGOR it’s spirit back.
Blissfulviolet:  Fractal Possession will be released shortly.  What can you tell me about the
sound of this album?
PK:  It’s more technical, more matured, more transparent. Very heavy and aggressive by all
means, we recorded at T.T.’s HELL-LAB studio…
Blissfulviolet:  Is there
a particular track off this
album that you enjoy
most?
PK:  Not really, Fractal
Possession is a
monument of might, I
really like the entire
material.
Blissfulviolet:  What
type of lyrical concepts
and inspirations shaped
Fractal Possession?
PK:  The lyrics are very
cold and nihilistic,
based on the dual
concept of good and evil and the lies as a result of that lie brought unto mankind by
Christianity.
Blissfulviolet:  By the way, who did the vocals on this album?
PK:  A.R., he’s our new vocalist. He has a great voice, very various and possessed.
Blissfulviolet:  Is the cover art set? If so can you tell me about the imagery?
PK:  It’ll be very strange, we only saw a few concepts/ideas so far, It’s not finished…
Blissfulviolet:  I noticed that Abigor will have a CD release party sometime in April. What’s
been set up for the evening? Will the band also perform?
PK:  Nothing special, just a pre-listening session and shit like that, and no, there won’t be a live
performance!
Blissfulviolet:   Does Abigor plan on touring after the album is released?
PK:  No, as we haven’t played in the past, we won’t play in the future.
Blissfulviolet:  Tell me more about the demo box set project that the band plans to release….
the artwork, what it will contain, etc…
PK:  It’ll feature the 1st demo “Ash Nazgh…”, the 2nd “lux devicta est”, the “Promo-Tape” and
“Moonrise”. It’ll be released on 7” or 10”, maybe some kind of a bandhistory book, wooden-box
or something similar, nothing concrete yet… definitely limited, with a special layout.
Blissfulviolet:  Abigor will later collaborate with Zweizz. What can you tell me about this?
PK:  Well, ZWEIZZ is a really strange (one-man) band and the 2 songs we’re working on will be
typical ABIGOR with a lot of electronical influences and sounds that ZWEIZZ already sent us…
We think about a split 10”, maybe with BLACKLODGE…
Blissfulviolet:  What inspired you guys to become musicians?
PK:  Hard to say, guess the first step did our parents, then we discovered Metal in the 80’s and
it all came hand in hand, in 89 I met T.T. we played under the name To-Mega-Therion, and In-
Sin, after a few rehearsals we split, in 93 we met again and founded ABIGOR… Music is a
strong way to express thoughts, a perfect way to spread our mental attitudes in a form that
touches your heart and soul. Beside that I am a technical engineer, T.T. works with his studio,
so we’re not addicted to the music, it’s our second (even most important!) life.
Blissfulviolet:  Outside of Abigor, are you involved in any other projects?
PK:  I agreed to play bass in HELLBOUND for their upcoming record(s), I did the guitars in that
band but left the band last year as we reunited ABIGOR… Well, I am strongly interested in
Underworld studies and all that deals with the Occult, beside all that shit I love mountain biking
and fitness training…
Blissfulviolet:  If you had to describe Abigor using one word, what would it be?
PK:  Reality!
Blissfulviolet:  Any final comments?
PK:  Thanx for your support. Check out our websites for latest news and await Fractal
Possession in June!
After a three year split, Abigor is back! Don’t expect a reunion highlighting the bands
past… Abigor’s rebirth aims towards progression and with their new upcoming
album, Fractal Possession the band is stronger then ever.
P.K. filled me in on the details of the band and their new album scheduled to be out
in May in Europe and June for the rest of the world.
