The “True Swedish Death metal” veterans, Dismember, who claim that
as long as they live, Death metal will reign supreme. Well, they are
definitely not lying or disappointing anyone with the new record self-
titled “Dismember”.
This is a band that has taken the death metal flag, and is carrying it
high and with a tremendous amount of pride. So anyone who is a fan of
this band should know that this is a band that will not drop the ball and
put out a poor effort on any release with the name Dismember on it.
This is probably why they boldly self-titled it to prove that they reign
supreme and continue to push the boundaries of death metal to new
heights. This is a fantastic album. I think anyone who gets a hold of this
record will agree that it is an instant classic with little to no hesitation.
Classic melodies and influences are allover this record which should
prove my argument that this could be an instant classic in anyone’s
collection. Listening to this instantly makes you want to start banging
your head. There isn’t much else I can say. This is an amazing death
metal classic. Just buy the fucking record because you won’t waste
your money and you won’t be disappointed.
