Angel: Originally it was two people trying to get a drummer, for a three
piece, back then we were kalled GANZIR. We tried out around five or six
drummers, but we had no real konnections with people who had similar
interests, back in high school, so we just stopped looking for potential
members and started fokusing on which direktion we were going. We
renamed the band HAIL.

It didn’t really go anywhere, since we were always fucked up with some sort
of intoxikant (or I was at least) and all the ideas just kind of faded, and I
stopped talking to the "other" member shortly after starting kollege.

I went a whole year of hell before deciding to aktually do something with it
again, with or without the other person. So I got started with that during the
summer of '05. I renamed it HAIL GANZIR (Hail the Gates of Eternal Thirst),
and started kind of exposing its musick little by little to people online
(usually), producing all my own shit with a drum program.

I don’t think I’m going to ask others to join the band (fucks with the
process), i might keep it a one man band, and just get a session drummer
for rekording purposes.

Angel: Hail Ganzir is inspired by musick
of all sorts. Of kourse, on some songs you
see more elements of a certain genre than
others, but I try not to limit myself to
anything TOO specifik. I'm not trying to fly
any type of flag but my own and I usually
don’ know what im doing until im finished...

you created...the thought behind it, the

Angel: This video was really a projekt
that i didnt expekt to be a big deal. I had just finished producing the
very,very first version of the self-titled song "Hail Ganzir" and my friend saw
this kreature while walking home through the nearby woods.

It started off just me wanting to take it's head. Then i had the idea of
bleaching it white for a nice dekoration. haha, so we walk three blocks down
the street at night, kasue kars are too risky (there was some crackhouse
nearby, so we didnt want to kause TOO much of a disturbance) and we are
holding all these tools that you would use to chop up a dead body. A few
knifes, a huge bottle of bleach, some everyday branch kutters and we just
start hacking at this huge thing. I start pouring the bleach on it and it starts
melting right away, you kould hear it sizzle and it smelled like some kind of
foul barbecue. now ORIGINALLY i wanted the head, except i didnt get JUST
the head i got about 1/4 of its torso AND its fucking leg, haha. (you kould
see me lift up that part in the video and dunk it into the bleach) It was fun
and funny.

Believe me there are many many things i would have done to make it
better, but i was kind of limited on money and footage, you kan tell from the
repetitive scenes.

BUT i AM going to make another video soon. For one of my songs off my
upkoming Album (already rekorded), "MAtando Dios" it is going to be very
soon, and its going to be ten times as better as this one.
