If you haven’t heard Impaled Nazarene yet now is your chance to hear the
band at its best, with their latest release, Manifest.
The Finnish nuclear metal warriors have been releasing their raw, diverse,
thrash, crust punk- black metal for 17 years now.  Nothing much has
changed ever since.  The band seems stronger then ever and their latest
release, commitment to their beliefs, music and label has also shined in
their favor.  In the extreme metal genre it’s difficult to reinvent yourself
musically without upsetting or boring your fans; it was great to see that after
all these years the band sounds so fresh.
This is definitely a dynamic, mean and in your face album.  The guys must
have had fun with this one; along with the justice of sticking the middle
finger in the face of society as well.  Not sure about some of the song titles
though: Original Rig Pig for example, but it put a smile on my face.  What I
feel sets this album aside from some of Impaled Nazarene’s previous
releases is the production of Manifest itself.  Nothing fancy here…just some
decent fucking metal.
Some songs worth checking out are The Antichrist Files, Funeral for the
Despicable Pigs, Die Insane and When Violence Commands the Day.
