Interview with Brian Werner By: MidKnight Damaelle

MidKnight Damaelle: You’re music is
quite unique in many ways. To someone
who has never heard your music, how
would you describe it to them?
Brian Werner: We got sick of all the
"Shit For Metal" out there and just wanted
to kind of bring it back to the good ol days
when metal would retain it's intensity but
still had some originality to it. We are all
fans of the Florida scene where we are
from and huge fans of the Euro shit so we
wanted to combine the 2 and just see
what happens and the response has been amazing to say the least.
MidKnight Damaelle: Why Infernaeon; what is the meaning behind the name of the band?
Brian: Technically it means the age of fire. We wanted an original name that was unique to
the music we play and also since we made that shit up it also means if you use the name you
have to pay us.
MidKnight Damaelle: What can we expect at your shows that makes you differ from other
metal bands during a show?
Brian: We have authentic stuffed mounted goat heads as well as shear aggression on stage.
We are a bunch of seriously pissed off motherfuckers and it comes out in our music as well as
our performance, whether it's knocking each other over on stage or starting our own on stage
pit we always give 110% whether there is 5 or 500 people.
MidKnight Damaelle: This is a question that always arises in my mind whenever I hear music
that I like: What is your influence behind your lyrics?
Brian: I wrote a handful of the lyrics and I am an extremely dedicated satanist and believe in
spreading the word. The first song on the album "Embodiment of Sin" is about one of my
favorite authors "The Marquis DeSade" truly one evil motherfucker. The last 3 songs are a
demonic trilogy of sorts about the Oracle of Armageddon and his rise to power.
MidKnight Damaelle: How do you entertain yourselves between shows?
Brian: Smoking Pot and worshiping Satan.
MidKnight Damaelle: Considering your goals and plans for the future, what would you hope
to have been your greatest accomplishment 5 years from now?
Brian: I would love to see this band do another album even more over the top than the 1st. I
would also like to see a world tour including Europe, Japan and Australia. I really want to go to
the far corners of the world where people are starved for metal and give them the chance to
see some real shit.
MidKnight Damaelle: Tell us about a
show that has so far been your most
unforgettable and why.
Brian: The first show I ever played with this
band was awesome opening for Divine
Empire and Kult of Azazel at the Culture
Room in Ft. Lauderdale. We went all out
that night and had a friend of mine who
works for Universal Studios came out and
made our show so over the top; From Black
Magic on stage to a full on sacrifice
including all the gore that came with it. It
was fucking amazing.
MidKnight Damaelle; If you could choose your lineup, who would you open for and play
alongside?
Brian: Hands down KING DIAMOND or MERCYFUL FATE there is NO OTHER MUSIC OTHER
THAN HIM.
MidKnight Damaelle: Give us an influential message for your fans.
Brian: " DO WHAT THOU WILL SHALL BE THE WHOLE OF THE LAW."
MidKnight Damaelle: Last question, silly question: If the fate of the world lay in your hands
but you had to change the genre of music you play, what would you choose?
Brian: FUCKING SUICIDE!
They have emerged from the swamps of Southern Florida, creating unique
death and symphonic black fucking metal.
