First of all I got this CD and it just screamed out cheese to me. I
opened it up and the cheese kept whizzing out. Seasons of the
Wolf is a talented but very cheesy band. The opening track is
enjoyable but the vocals can get somewhat annoying at times. I
am a fan of all forms of metal and it sounds like this band is trying
to blend a couple of styles together. It sounds like a mix of
Progressive power metal mixed with Doom. But this was just way
too cheesy for my taste. If you like cheesy metal music then this is
the band for you. I would say to anyone who is open to anything
please give this band at least one listen and who knows maybe
you will like it. Unfortunately this is not one that will be playing in
my player any time soon.
